Around our school
A taster of all the wonderful things we do at Thompson Primary School. We hope this gives you a better understanding about us.
School uniform
Our school uniform consists of purple sweatshirts or cardigans, white polo T shirt or shirt, grey trousers or skirt and sensible black shoes. No high heels, platforms, trainers or opened toe shoes should be worn.
Summer wear options: Gingham/striped dress in purple or lilac or grey shorts.
The jumpers and cardigans can be ordered from Birds of Dereham either online or in the shop. Other items are available from their website but are not compulsory, we do however ask that the jumpers are purchased from here.
We do ask that children do not attend school in the following: Jeans, tracksuits, hoodies and trainers.
Clothing for games and Physical education
For these activities the children need a complete change of clothes. Navy/Black shorts, white or purple T shirt (available from Birds) Pair of trainers and a black or navy tracksuit. Designer tracksuits and football strips are not allowed.
Thompson Primary School uniform
All of the children receive a free book bag when they start reception. This is thanks to the Friends of Thompson Primary.
All of our uniform is available from Birds of Dereham. You can purchase a logo Polo shirt or a plain one is fine.
Purple sweatshirt, we do ask that these are purchased with a logo.
Some children prefer to wear a cardigan, which is also available.
A fleece and reversible jacket are also available but not essential.
A PE T shirt is also available but not essential.
